Downtown Great Falls is a beautiful area of town with sweet little shops, boutiques, restaurants, and businesses. But, it is never more beautiful than when its streets are full of people.
This year, because of COVID-19, one of the beautiful summer pastimes of the Great Falls Farmers Market has had to be cancelled. But, hope has popped up through the work of the Downtown Association and the amazing businesses downtown.
This Saturday, June 20 from 8am - 1pm, venture downtown for a Sidewalk Sale, Summer Market event. Central Avenue will be closing to traffic at 7 AM, businesses will be bringing merchandise outside, restaurants will have outside seating, and market vendors will be set up along Central Avenue. Grab a cup of joe and stroll along Central in what is supposed to be beautiful weather!
This isn't an exact answer to our missing Farmers Market as produce vendors will not be present at this market due to COVID restrictions, however, you can visit Cattleman's Cut parking lot starting June 13 for all of your produce needs.
But it sounds like all of the other bases covered! Social distancing guidelines will be in place during the event, so please be respectful to each other and business owners so we can continue to host events! Come enjoy the Summer Solstice with us Downtown!
